Peru - Cuzco (Cusco)

Cuzco’s picturesque buildings and narrow cobbled streets will be imprinted on your mind forever as you stroll through this old Inca capital.

According to Inca legend, the city was built by Sapa Inca Pachacuti, the man who transformed the Kingdom of Cuzco from a sleepy city-state into the vast empire of Tahuantinsuyu.

Almost every central street has remains of Inca walls, arches & doorways.
Many streets are lined with perfect Inca stonework, now serving as foundations for more modern buildings. These granite blocks are joined perfectly with no gaps & no mortar.

Cuzco, gateway to Macchupichu, the lost city of the Incas, is one of the greatest highlights of this country.
