Brazil - Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is reputed to be the most beautiful city in the world and one of the healthiest climates in the tropics.
Rio, this amazing city with its scenery, hospitality & infectious joy along with its world famous beaches and the easy going way of the Cariocas (as the people of Rio are known) will welcome you with open arms.
Climbing by 2 cable cars to 396m to the top of Paca  de Acur (sugar loaf) we have breathtaking views of Guanabara Bay, the city, and the beaches round to Ipanema.
In the distance you see the statue of Christ standing 40m high with his arms outstretched over the city, on top of Corcovada a jagged peak rising 710m. Last year this was voted one of the NEW 7 WONDERS of THE WORLD
A famous place in down town Rio is “Colombo’s Confiteria “ a 19th century tea house with its beautiful architecture.

Brazil - Iguazu Falls

Prepare to have your breath taken away with the sight & sounds of Iguazu Falls, the most spectacular falls in the world. These falls span 3kms & border 3 countries (Paraguay, Argentina & Brazil).

The optional Macucu Safari offers you an exhilarating experience, riding the waves in a power boat under these dynamic falls.

The name Iguazu comes from the Guarani words y (water) and guasu (big). The legend says that a god pretended to marry a beautiful aborigine named Naipú, who fled with her mortal lover in a canoe. In rage, the god sliced the river creating the waterfalls, condemning the lovers to an eternal fall.

Bolivia - Lake Titikaka (Lake Titicaca)

Lake Titicaca is the largest navigable lake in the world. From Puno we take a boat to the Uros Islands where communities live on floating islands. An extraordinary sight awaits you as you step onto the floating islands (like walking on a water bed) many of the houses, schools and boats are made of reeds (also edible in salads). Traveling in one of their reed boats will be an unforgettable experience.

The Aymara Indians here are very friendly and have an array of well made tapestries & crafts to sell.
